Role

Director of Alumni Relations

Why I became an SPO Missionary

A relationship with Jesus is the best news I can think of. It changes everything about life in the best way possible—it makes life fulfilling, joyful, abundant, freeing, purposeful, adventurous, and so much more. And as is the case with anything “life-changing”, I want to tell people about it. That’s why I serve. To invite other people into a relationship with God that will change their life But why serve here in this role? Why serve SPO alumni? In short: SPO alumni are incredible missionaries. They are men and women who love the people in front of them—generously, courageously, without reservation. They proclaim the Gospel unabashedly, with their own lives as evidence of its power. SPO alumni are transforming the world and I want to help them do it. Wherever they are today—in their vocation, career, neighborhood—I want to help give them what they need to be on mission and invite others into a relationship with Jesus. The Lord has big dreams for our alumni. Thank you for dreaming with Him.

Favorite Scripture

"That you, rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend... What is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to accomplish far more than all we ask or imagine, by the power at work within us, to him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen." - Ephesians 3
