Why did you become an SPO Missionary?

Hello! My name is Shilpa Maria Thomas, and I am currently a senior at the University of Minnesota studying psychology and applied economics.

The first time the Lord called me to mission was during a praise and worship night last year. He made it very clear that He wanted an investment from me, and He has worked in that call by growing a desire for mission in my heart over this past year. Living in household has taught me a lot about the Lord and His heart - generosity, sacrifice, and compassion. I want to take these graces I have received and share them with other young hearts that are yearning for the Lord. Being a missionary with SPO is an undeniable calling that Christ has given me. My hope is that the Lord will use your generosity to win souls for Himself, to make heaven crowded, and the Church on earth vibrant!
